Branson, MO, Harrisonburg, VA, Georgetown, TX

What a whirlwind!   We made our way through Illinois to Missouri and stopped in Branson.  The City of Branson RV Park was very convenient to downtown.   We were in Branson a year ago and did not appreciate the hills.  But when you are pulling a 15,000lb 5th Wheel the hills become magnified and dangerous.  We were extra carful!  Just dont get stuck at a red light near the top of a hill with a 10% grade when it is wet!

In Branson, we saw three shows.  Dublin's Irish Tenors and the Celtic Ladies, Deanz The Ultimate Elvis show was as close to the actual Elvis we have ever seen. He was awesome!  The Sight and Sound Presentation of the Life of Jesus. Sights and Sounds was vey well done celebrating the life of Christ, His Redemption and an invitation at the end for folks to receive Him into their lives.  The colors were quite vivid and just starting to peak!

After the shows in Branson, we stored the 5th Wheel, drove to Springfield, MO to catch a flight to Charlottesville, VA to see a weekend of marching bands, featuring our grandaughter Layla Seefried in the Harrisonburg High School Marching Band and grandson Jacob Seefried in the Marching Royal Dukes Marching Band of James Madison University.  Both are in the drum line!  A great weekend, then back to MO to take the 5th Wheel to Texas where we rest in November and December. What a great joy and excitement to see them both performing in their bands. Both schools won their football games too!

An added bonus, John's cousin, Doug Moos, lives in Springfield, MO so we had a chance to catch up after many years!

Back in Texas Nov 4 for 2 months.  A Chili Cookoff with our Primetime Class at Hill Country Bible Church.  John is teaching the book of 1 John at the PrimeTime Class in November and getting to spend time with grand kids, Lily and John!   Doesn't get any better!  Did someone say rest?

    1. Rest yes, but the work never ends. Repairs, re-sorting stuff, going through our storage, teaching Sundays, time with g/kids, doctor appointments, etc etc.

It is good not to be hooking and unhooking so much. Plan to be in the Austin area through end February....I think.
