On The Road Again!
Willie Nelson knew the feeling! July 1, 2022
On the road again.......Just can't wait to get on the road again,
Goin' places that I've never been.......Seein' things I've never seen before.
And I can't wait to get on the road again!
Where has the time gone? We have been in Liberty Hill, TX at the Rio Bonito RV Park for the last couple of months recalbrating with family and friends, It was wonderful!
- Times with our son John and his kiddos Lily and John.
- Time with our daughter Tracy's family and our grandaughter Layla's High School graduation in Virginia.
- Times with our Hill Country Bible Church Austin PrimeTime Leadership Team of nine high quality and beloved friends. As we have stepped down from leadership due to our RV life at this time, this photo was taken last Sunday as part of a "thank you" to the team for 15 years of commitment to the class.
So we are ready! We will leave July 5 and return to central TX October 15. We will travel north from TX, then head to the NW coasts of Orgegon and Washington, then slowly make our way back to TX through much beauty!. We will be sharing many sigths and stories!
- Key stops will be:
Davenport. IA for a wedding of John's sister, Marianne's 3rd son, Harrison to his girl, Jaycee.
Westward to the coast going through Salt Lake City, Boise, Crater Lake National Park, the Oregon Coast, Mt Rainier, Columbia River Gorge and Portland.
Our daughter, Tricia (pictured below) as insturmental is encouraging us to see much of Orgeon during this trip.
North to Whidbey Island off the Washignton coast for a week with our Tricia's family in a B&B!
This is a picture of Ken and Tricia with Kat and Seth while visiting Scandanavia this month. This is a shot from Bergen, Norway. Then making a slow trek back by way of Yellowstone, The Grand Teton's, Mt Rushmore meeting up with our HCBC friends.
Then south through Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and back to Texas.
Along the way, we covert you prayers for safety and for opportunities to share the Good News. We like to take a good supply of Gideon New Testaments and offer them as a gift to people we meet. 95% of folks are very receptive. Great way to share our faith giving out God’s Word!
For this trip, I have been given a Celestron 4SE telescope, from my friend Ed LaBelle who started Psalm 19 Astonomy, to view objects in the night sky. Top objects to view are the moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Mars and key stars in well known constellations. The general public really enjoys being invited to look at these things that "display the Glory of the Lord" - Psalm 19:1-4.
So with new tires on the truck, a fresh oil change and a recent wheel bearing and chassis grease job on the 5th wheel, we believe we are ready to go. We are anxious to start sharing sights and stories!
Until Next Time
God's Blessings to You,
John and Linda Weber
PS Please stay in touch with anyway suggestions from those who have seen some of this!
