Weber's Chosen Odyssey

After winter months in Central Texas, we headed to the Florida panhandle in early March.   Our Odyssey of building relationships, sharing, rekindling extended family and seeing beautiful creation continues.  This is longer than normal but God had done much these past few months.    Distributing Gideon New Testaments has become 2nd nature.  We always have one in our pockets to offer to anyone we strike up a conversation with.  Anyone can do this even if you not a member of The Gideons International, you can simply purchase these little New Testaments at www.FriendsofGideons.org Disappointments and Blessings Sadly, arriving at our RV Resort in Miramar Beach FL, we experienced damage to the tailgate of our truck which required a tailgate replacement and a significant deductible cost. 😞 The resort turned out to be overly expensive but the owner, a Christian brother, kindly gave us a $450 refund, even though he has never given a refund before. As we hang out at the La Hacienda RV Resort in the Austin area, we have been very blessed to be near family and wonderful friends that we have made here since 2005.   We spent quality time with our son John's family, flew to Portland to spend Christmas with Ken and Tricia and the kids, got together here in TX with friends for birthday celebrations and Christmas parties and a nice camping outing with friends in Kerrville, TX.   Interspersed with all that, John had the opportunity to teach through the book of 1 John for 7 weeks to our adult class at Hill Country Bible Church Austin.  If anyone is interested, it is a powerful little book (5 chapters) on the subject of "The Gateway to Fellowship with God".   I can send my PowerPoints if anyone is interested.
